Informed Consent & Self Advocacy

We understand that navigating the childbirth system can be overwhelming and confusing. That's why our child birth education class is designed to empower you with the knowledge and tools necessary to confidently advocate for yourself and your baby. In our class, you will learn about informed consent and how to effectively communicate with your healthcare provider to ensure that your wishes are respected.

Physiological Childbirth

At Back to Roots Holistic Wellness & Birthkeeping, we believe in the beauty and power of the natural childbirth process. That's why we offer our Physiological Childbirth class, which is designed to teach you about childbirth the way nature intended. We'll cover topics like the stages of labor, natural pain management techniques, and the role of the partner in the birth process. This class will provide you with the knowledge and tools to embrace the natural process of childbirth and have a more empowered and positive experience.

Labor Prep

Preparing for labor is essential for a smooth and comfortable birthing experience. At Back to Roots Holistic Wellness & Birthkeeping, we offer a Labor Prep class that will teach you the techniques that you need to manage your labor. These techniques include positions, breathing exercises, massage, and more. Our experienced educators will guide you through the process and answer any questions that you may have. 

Postpartum Care & Planning

Our class on postpartum care and planning will provide you with the information and support you need to have a healthy and happy postpartum period. We will cover the essentials of holistic postpartum care, including nutrition, rest, and recovery. Our instructors will also teach you how to plan for a smooth transition to motherhood, including how to get the support you need. 

Infant Care & Breastfeeding

Our infant care and breastfeeding classes cover all the basics, so you can feel confident when taking care of your new bundle of joy. Learn about the best ways to soothe your newborn, how to bathe your baby, and how to handle common infant issues like diaper rash and colic. Our breastfeeding classes will also teach you techniques to help ensure a successful nursing experience for both mother and baby.
